Should I repair or replace my bath?

If the bath is structurally sound and the damage is chips, cracks, stains or a worn surface, repair or resurfacing is almost always the better value — cheaper, quicker and no tiling or plumbing work. Replacement only makes sense when the bath itself is broken beyond a surface repair.
